Looks like the "Fixer Upper" farmhouse is going to get a little more crowded!

Fans of the popular HGTV show know how hard it is for Chip Gaines to not bring home a new animal (one of the reasons we love him so much), so it’s no surprise to hear that the couple has welcomed two new dogs and two new cats into their home.

Joanna Gaines shared the announcement of their new fur babies on Instagram Thursday, first introducing Casey and Hunter, two adorable Redbone Coonhound puppies which many of her followers pointed out reminded them of the dogs from “Where the Red Fern Grows.”

But of course it didn’t just stop there. Joanna later shared another pic of the dogs adding that she almost forgot to mention that Chip brought home two new black kittens, too.

We lost track of how many animals the family of six has on the 40-acre farm, but last year around this time it was around 60.

Chickens, cows, goats, cats, dogs… it’s pretty much an animal sanctuary at the Gaines’ estate. Of course this wasn’t always how Joanna had pictured her life.

“If you would have asked me a year ago if we would have cows, goats, a stray cat with a broken leg and some gimpy guineas on the land, I would have said you were crazy,” she once wrote on her blog. “Mainly because I don’t have a clue what to do with any of them.”

But Chip’s determination and sweet surprises have made their family keep growing, and while Joanna admits that all the animals can bring chaos to their home, we’re pretty sure she loves it. After all, how couldn’t you with faces like that?
