Daisy is running wild thanks to a new set of prosthetic legs.
Her owner recently posted this endearing Facebook video of the little pup running with them for the first time.
Daisy's journey has been a tumultuous one. She was abandoned on the streets of Bellflower, Calif., at the age of 2 months, and was later scheduled to be euthanized, her owner, Sheena Main, wrote on her site.
Several months later, she was adopted and found her forever home.
Born with a congenital deformity in her front legs, Daisy didn't let it prevent her from getting around. Sheena tried a wheelchair, but it put too much pressure on her spine.
In early October, Sheena received a new set of prosthetic legs for Daisy from Animal Ortho Care — and the two have never looked back.
It's been a slow run for Daisy to get used to her legs, but she's now at full speed and loving every minute of it.
