Alanis Morissette made a big announcement Friday, posting a sweet video to her social media accounts and website.
The video starts out seeming like a touching tribute to her husband, Mario "Souleye" Treadway, on their anniversary — "happy anniversary, baby," she sings — but it turns into something more unexpected (and exciting!).
The music video tracks Morissette and Treadway's love story, showing their marriage and the birth of their son, 5-year-old Ever Imre. Finally, it culminates in shots of the family of three looking at an ultrasound to announce that Morissette is pregnant.

The singer-songwriter captioned the video — titled "Souleye + Ever + me + love = sweetness" — writing, "The story of my nuclear family in moving pictures, brings us up to this sweet moment."
She wrote on her website that the song was "written, recorded and produced in 6 hours on May 22, 2010 with Guy Sigsworth, on the sly, to surprise Souleye."
She added, "May this song take on ever-deepening meaning as each year goes by."
Souleye tweeted the video as well, writing, "So heart warming, tear jerking, kind, fun and funny."
