Being away from your baby for the first time can be nerve-racking for any new mom, but a recent one-night trip turned into an emotional disaster for Brooklyn Decker, who missed her flight because she left to pump breast milk.

The “Grace and Frankie” actress said she had been stuck on a plane for nearly two hours Wednesday because of mechanical problems when the airline offered to let passengers get off. Decker did — and headed straight to the restroom to go pump.

She returned minutes later to find the gate to her flight closed.

“2 mechanical delays. Told we could de-plane. I did. Pumped in the bathroom. Returned 15 min later. Flight closed. Deeeeep breaths,” she said in one of a series of tweets where she vented her frustrations.

The former Swimsuit Illustrated model and her husband, tennis player Andy Roddick, welcomed their son, Hank, last September.

She said in a tweet she posted before missing her flight that the trip was her first time away from the baby. She said it didn't make sense to take him with her for such a short trip, although leaving him behind left her a "mess."

She stressed that fact in a tweet after missing her flight.

“And I repeat-this is the FIRST TIME leaving my baby. I don't know why I'm sharing all of this. I'm just livid. And tweeting. Whilst drinking,” she tweeted, right after posting a photo of a glass of wine.

Earlier in the evening, while waiting aboard the plane she ended up missing, Decker had fretted over the need to pump — and whether she should do it in her seat or in the plane’s bathroom.

"As women and as moms we try to do it all but it sure ain't easy," she said in a tweet later.

In the end, while trying to relax with her glass of wine, Decker found some humor in the situation.

"Crazy thing is I got off to pump thinking, 'I don't want to offend the guy next to me.' But why? He probably sucked a boob too. #winemusings," she tweeted.
