Before parody queen Deva Dalporto was educating the world on bus safety or dancing through her neighborhood to "Suburban Funk," the California mom of two was dealing with a serious condition in her home: her husband's male pattern blindness.

Dalporto shot a video, which shows her husband insisting he cannot find a bag of raisins right in front of his face, in 2014. But after the blogger posted the video directly to theMyLifeSuckers Facebook page earlier this week, the clip went viral. To date, the video has more than 3.5 million views.

"My husband is an amazing man, but unfortunately he does suffer from male pattern blindness" Dalporto told TODAY Parents. "In our 12 years of marriage, it has only gotten worse. It drives me insane — that and his selective hearing."

Dalporto says her husband, who wishes to remain anonymous, is not alone in his condition. Since the video went viral, viewers have filled the comments section with their own stories of husbands — and even wives — who suffer from the condition.

"I totally lose my mind when he can't see something that is right in front of his face," said Dalporto. "But, ever since we made this video, I shout, 'Male pattern blindness!' when he's staring at something that 'isn't there' and we both get a good laugh out of it.'
