Jillian Michaels posts often about fitness on her Facebook page, but the mom of two angered her child-free fans over the weekend when she posted a parenting meme recalling how she was "so cute" when she thought she was tired before becoming a mom.

"I was so cute when I thought I was tired back before I had kids," the meme read. "So cute."

While any parent will agree that kids bring a new level of exhaustion to life, childless followers of the fitness guru took offense to the post, flooding her page with comments that accused Michaels of being insensitive to other life situations that make people tired — from chronic illness to long work hours.

But supporters of Michaels were quick to come to her defense, accusing complainers of taking the post too personally.

Michaels later posted an article about the fuss from the parenting site Scary Mommy, saying, "The best part about this is that I didn't have time to read my comments yesterday and only found out about this [expletive] show on my page because I follow Scary Mommy."

The Scary Mommy writer appeared to sum up the controversy: "Unfortunately, in today’s landscape of instant outrage, nothing is harmless anymore."

Looks like this celebrity really is just like us — an exhausted parent who gets their parenting news from social media, even when it's about themselves.
