A baby is on the way for Katherine Heigl!
The former “Grey’s Anatomy” star is pregnant with her first son. She and her husband, musician Josh Kelley, expect to welcome their third child in January, according to People magazine.
The baby will join big sisters Adalaide, 4, and Naleigh, 7.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipation and hormones. Well, only I’m filled with hormones, but everyone in the family gets to enjoy them,” Heigl told People in a statement. “Naleigh and Adelaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude.”

Heigl’s first two children are both adopted, and the actress has been vocal about her desire to adopt before having biological children because of the way she grew up.
"My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born,” she said in a 2010 interview with Us Weekly. “I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea."

Heigl and Kelley’s older daughter was born in Korea, while their younger daughter was adopted domestically.
