Amy Grant released one of the sweetest, catchiest songs of 1991 with "Baby Baby," a tune she wrote while battling writer's block — and holding her then 6-week-old daughter, Millie.

Well, Millie is all grown up now, and the song is getting a whole new life thanks to a 25th anniversary re-recorded version featuring Grant and Grammy nominee Tori Kelly (who is younger than the tune). And it is just as delightful as the original!

"Tori is such an incredible vocalist, one of the most effortless singers I have ever heard, and once she starts singing it is like a rocket engine has been strapped on to the song and she takes us all on a ride," Grant told People. "I really think she knocked it out of the park."

The new track will be available as of Friday, and with luck a whole new generation of fans will be born. (Here's a fun behind-the-scenes look at the making of the song, with Kelly and Grant interviewing each other!)

"I have heard from so many people who say they grew up singing the song, or that they sang 'Baby Baby' to their children when they were young and they are excited to hear a new version," said Grant, who is married to country superstar Vince Gill.

"My hope is that those who loved the original will enjoy the breath of fresh air that Tori puts into the song and that perhaps the song will find a brand new audience of younger listeners who weren't even born when the original was on the radio," she added.

We're very taken with that notion!
