A husband's dream came true when his wife agreed to take a wedding photo in front of KFC on their way to their wedding reception.

While Ashleigh Davis, 21, thought sharing her vows with her new husband, Louis Davis, 21, was as special as special can be, Louis wanted something a little bit more.

Louis insisted they take a photo outside the Whangarei, New Zealand, chain on Saturday. Louis then shared his picture perfect moment on Facebook — and it went viral.

"I usually would've never agreed to do something like this and would've said no, but our wedding day was so perfect and relaxing that I figured why not!" Ashleigh told TODAY.

Louis not only wanted a photo in front of his favorite restaurant — he tried to get a bite of chicken inside as well. Ashleigh suggested the catering at their reception instead.

"He wanted to go in and eat but I said no, no we have to go," Ashley said. "It was raining so I was trying to move along...he was quite annoyed about that!"

Even though KFC is Louis' favorite spot to eat, the restaurant chain has yet to reach out to the couple regarding their photo.

"He loves KFC so much that he eats it at least three times a week," Ashleigh said. "I'll get one snack box of chicken and he'll order at least four just for himself."

It was just a moment of their wedding day, but it's one they'll remember for a lifetime. "It was just so unexpected and it just made the day that much more memorable than what it already was."
