A couple boating in Gilford were forced to abandon their boat in Lake Winnipesaukee. New Hampshire Marine Patrol says James and Patricia Preisendorfer ran into trouble yesterday afternoon when their boat encountered choppy water. They tried to bail out the boat, but were overwhelmed.
